Local Government

Stable local government with a forward-looking outlook is the fare in the WestGate region.  County governments are overseen by a three-member elected board of County Commissioners, with county budgets prepared and allocated by local County Council. 

The WestGate tech park enjoys the direct support of the Indiana Governor and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, which maintains standards for the WestGate’s status as the state’s only tri-county Certified Technology Park.  The park itself is governed by the WestGate @ Crane Authority, whose members are appointed by the county Commissioners from Daviess, Greene and Martin counties.
